V7 Stone

Classic Character Meets Modern Edge

Our Official Bike Review

Moto Guzzi V7 Stone – Dark, Bold, and Unapologetically Italian

The Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is a bike that refuses to blend in. It embraces a minimalist philosophy wrapped in bold personality — no chrome, no flash, just the raw presence of matt black paint and aluminium wheel rims with six spokes. This is a machine that doesn’t need to shout to be heard, and it’s precisely that understated confidence that makes it so appealing.

Performance with Purpose

At the heart of the V7 Stone is Moto Guzzi’s evolved air-cooled V-twin engine, a transversal 90-degree twin displacing 853cc. With 67.3 hp and 79 Nm of torque delivered at 4,400 rpm, this isn’t about chasing horsepower records — it’s about delivering usable, satisfying power exactly where you need it. The shaft drive keeps maintenance simple, while Euro 5+ compliance means the engine is cleaner and more capable than ever. With a 21-litre fuel tank and impressive 4.9 l/100 km consumption, you can ride further before stopping.

Rider-Focused Tech

Despite its minimalist styling, the V7 Stone is packed with modern rider aids. Intuitive switch-cubes put controls at your fingertips, while dedicated road and rain riding modes let you adapt to conditions. The ride-by-wire throttle provides smooth, predictable response, and ABS with traction control adds confidence without intruding on the experience. The updated full circular LCD instrument keeps you informed with a clear, modern display, and cruise control makes longer rides more relaxed.

Design: Aggression Meets Elegance

The V7 Stone’s design language is all about contrast. The darkness of the matt black paint is punctuated by aluminium accents and a striking new logo on the side panels. The full LED headlight with Moto Guzzi’s distinctive DRL signature pattern gives the Stone a modern face, while the single Brembo caliper and six-spoke wheels hint at its sporting capability. The seat, fitted with a passenger grab strap, balances solo riding with two-up practicality.

Is It for You?

The V7 Stone is for riders who appreciate authenticity. It’s minimalist yet eclectic, easy to ride yet full of character. Available in Nero Ruvido and Blu Profondo, it suits riders who want a bike that looks like nothing else on the road. At 198 kg dry, it’s manageable for most riders, and the 780mm seat height is welcoming. If you’re drawn to Italian engineering, classic proportions, and a bike that encourages you to ride rather than polish, the V7 Stone deserves your attention.
